Each class is thoughtfully paced to help you feel supported, present, and at ease—whether you are new to yoga or returning after time away.
Move mindfully at a steady, accessible pace. Postures are adapted for every body.
Learn to reconnect through conscious breathing and deep relaxation.
Enjoy the comfort of practising from your own home with live guidance and support.
I believe yoga should be welcoming in every sense—not only in the way it is taught, but also in the way it is offered. Begin with 12 complimentary classes, then continue your practice for A$10 per session.
You do not need to be flexible, experienced, or confident before you begin. Come exactly as you are, and let the practice meet you there.
“The practice does not ask you to become someone else. It gently brings you back to yourself, through the alignment of mind and body, united by the breath.”Shahla Yoga
Namaste! For over 15 years, yoga has been a guiding presence in my life. It has taught me that yoga is much more than physical movement—it is a practice of balance, awareness, and coming home to ourselves.
As a certified Yoga Alliance 200-hour teacher, I continue to deepen my knowledge through ongoing study, personal practice, and teaching. My classes honour the traditional principles of yoga while remaining welcoming and accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of experience.
Whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time or returning to your practice, my intention is to create a calm and supportive space where you can breathe deeply, move mindfully, and reconnect with yourself. You are warmly welcome.
Every name tells a story.
My yoga journey began with my mother, Shahla, who has been teaching yoga for many years and first introduced me to the practice. She inspired me to fall in love with yoga, and what began as a personal practice has become a lifelong journey of learning, balance, and self-discovery.
Through her kindness, wisdom, and quiet strength, she showed me that yoga is so much more than physical exercise—it is a way of living with presence, compassion, and balance.
Though we are separated by oceans, we still meet on our mats online three times a week. Sharing our practice is one of my greatest joys—a gentle reminder that yoga continues to bridge the distance between us, wherever life takes us.
In many ways, Shahla Yoga is a love letter to my mother—a celebration of the practice she shared with me, the values she lives by, and the connection we continue to nurture, one breath and one practice at a time.
As a beautiful coincidence, the Persian name Shahla evokes beauty, light, and grace. It is my wish that the spirit of this name is reflected in every class, every breath, and every step of your journey.
I'd love to hear from you. Whether you have a question about classes, bookings, or which class is right for you, please get in touch.
